Negroamaro from Puglia. 2012. Pale garnet color, med intensity nose. Barnyard nose, lots of blackberry, mature black fruits, a little stemmy. Wood, earth, tobacco, vegetal. The wine is dry, medium acid, med- tannin, med alcohol and med body. Med+ flavor intensity on the palate, cooked strawberry, black fruits, black cherry. Wood, earth, little mushroom umami. Good length… fantastic wine.
