Darker, underripe (likely overcropped) medicinal cherry cough drop. High acid. Truffley mushroom stuff from old botte. Someone calls old hoisin which is great call. Brilliant fruit from excellent storage! Better old Nebbiolo drinking here in the USA than in Italy. Tagging onto the hoisin is the meaty bouillon quality here which just comes from the age of the wine. Even with those savory qualities, the wine maintains its fruit as a spine to hold it all together. End of days soon but in a wonderful place still for the moment.
