Still really powerful, but with nice finesse and balance.

Another great last minute gathering at the storage facility!

I was slightly shocked how thin this was for such a solid producer. The red and black fruit was very faint and the notes were more secondary (earthy, dirty fruit) than fruit bomb, but even the secondary notes were thin. If you’ve got this, drink quickly.

Good bottle prefer the 2010s that are less ripe.

Sour cherry, roses and sage. The oak is nicely integrated. This may get better with more time in the glass. We will see. This is the oldest Mills I've had and it's drinking great. I'd love to see what these are like at 10+ years

2009 tasted in January 2022. Really good mature California Pinot. Dried cherry and some earth. Nose keeps you coming back for more. Translucent color belies it’s intensity and medium body. Excellent with a baby Bella mushroom sauce over chicken.

More fruit than minerals, but well balanced from first to last sip.
