I don't rate wine this high. Except for this one. Because it is awesome. It's really awesome.

Wow, unheard of vintage Champagne at $50-ish. The majority is Chardonnay 50-60%+, and the remainder a majority Pinot Noir and the rest Pinot Meunier. This is classic Champagne in the leasy, biscuits, brioche like way, with baked apples, baking spices and an excellent beam of acidity. Fresh, clean and full flavored on the finish, tastes $80+ easy.

This is STUPID good right now. I think this is my 7th or 8th bottle of this wine and it gets better every time. What a nose. It is a kaleidoscope of intensity. Toasty, yeasty, feral, lemon curd, oh my what glorious stank. Also leather, smoke and spices. Just unbelievable aromas. Extraordinary palate with ridiculous depth. Concentrated and explosive yet graceful. What length and sap. Terrific acid keeps it on your palate for minutes. Graceful. This is true power and grace.

Started off a bit closed then it hit its groove in an one hour. Biscuits, brioche on the nose. Minerals galore. Palate is muscular and super rich yet super elegant and dazzlingly pure. Like a cloud of feathers. So beautiful.
