Jan 7th, 2018Tasted at Hearts Delight press lunch. (Not my pic, I forgot to take one). I went into this thinking it would be big Napa Cab and wouldn't suit my palate. Then I tasted it and wow! Nothing green on this. Nice chalky minerality. I was excited to see this was from Howell Mountain as it then made sense to me why I was enjoying this more than expected.

Lush, sexy, and yet oh so rugged. Blackberries, blueberries with a hint of bramble, mountain sage and licorice. A kiss of perfectly integrated oak, and you get one good looking Cab. Definitely want to decant to get it performing to the best of its abilities.

Jun 10th, 2018Vintage 2012 - decanted, great immediately and after an hour. Mild fruit, nice minerality, very smooth on the finish. Went great with short rib - no surprise there!

Outstanding! Deep red. Nose black fruit. Silly smooth tannin. This was drank despite being an itty bitty baby. I imagine in time this will be even more amazing.
