I generally am a critic of chardonnay. But this got my attention when I opened it and noticed some residual pressure in the bottle- maybe this bottle was flawed with a bit of bacteria? Well it gave it a multiple dimensions that were not masked by oak and opened up as the bottle came up to room temperature. Certainly worth revisiting and happy to see a more natural chardonnay coming out of California.
