2016 barrel sample.
This is gonna be awesome. Very prominent tannins, which are to be expected. Notes of coffee and maple syrup on the nose. Deep extraction, similar to a bottomless pit. Huge overripe cherries, cassis and a muscular frame. Finishes with urgency. A stellar example from a great producer.
