Brand
Brio Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley, California, USA

Really lovely wine with nice acid and a tannin forward approach. Take this to dinner or feel free to hold on to it for years to come.

Pritchard Hill strutting its stuff and on the contrary to most opinions I like 2011 if it was well made.

Wonderful wine. I cannot add many more thoughts than what Greg Gregory wrote. Why wait?! It is ready to go now! Problem I have with many wines. Discipline and patience. Okay problem I have with the rest of my life, too...

Very smooth wine from a troubled vintage. Big bold black fruit accented by vanilla and oak. Like all Melka wines the mouthfeel is front and center and a very smooth finish. This was preferred over the 12 brand cab on this day.

Yet another example of a great winemaker pulling a victory from the jaws of '11 Napa death. The 2nd wine of Brand, Brio, is so good. Black fruit. Dominated by a range of raw and roasted cocoa bean flavours, right to the good acid. Judicious oaky vanilla. Drinking super nicely now. @Greg Gregory a superb host and leading a phenomenal team. The view's not bad either!
