Las Rocas Calatayud Garnacha

Bright red fruit notes and restrained tannins. A nice quaff with North African lamb stew.

Bit of bacon, something meaty on the nose. Flavor is juicy and tart. Citrusy. Hits las rocas style outta the park.

Too acid

Nice peppery taste at the end, good with food

Mild tannins with weak red fruit notes.

The 2011 one was much better.

Nice. Goes very well with tomato soup.

Beautiful dark red ink color. Complex and pleasing nose. This is a nice little number. Perhaps a bit too peppery on the finish. But I would definitely have again.
