Floral driven on the nose with intense notes of violets and wild lavender along with ripe cherries, raspberries, blackberries, leather, and sweet spices. A mid to full bodied red with a nice well rounded silky texture, delicious red and dark fruit flavors with a balsamic midpalate followed by licorice that leads to a cool mineral infused finish with creamy tannins.

Disappointing Rioja. It is super expensive for what it offers. OK on the nose and palate but expected a lot more. For this price I rather buy Arzuaga and still have money for some ham and cheese.
