EMH Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

2007. Dark red fruit, leather, anise dominate the nose. Red fruit, spice, chewy, nice acidity. Could use a bit more depth but I love the house style that Merrill is known for. Great stuff.

This 2007 has turned into an elegant wine. The nose has a little bit of cedar. Tannins have softened but are still present. Fruit is still strong. Lovely.

Gave it 2.5 hrs of air before the first glass and it continued to improved over the following 1.5 hrs.

2012. Soft round mouthfeel with bright cherry fruit. Like it! Merrill will kill me for popping this so young but it is gooood!

This is in a perfect place right now. Elegant, with everything in impeccable balance. A beauty.

2006 and it is exquisite. There is a core of black cherry fruit with excellent acidity, fierce tannins and impeccable balance.
