2011 vintage, shows the virtues of the Stelvin enclosure. The warmth of the last half of the vintage pokes through on a slightly hot finish, but the lovey medium body and texture of the wine more than make up for it. Very solid fruit up front with lemon pith, under ripe honey dew melon, sugar snap peas, and that lovely note of white pepper that graces GV. The finish has good length, and if one has this bottle lurking around in their cellar, I believe it will go for another 5 years or so.
