What a great wine - early is currant on the nose and palate. As it opens it’s a smokey dark fruit with tannins that kick after about 10 seconds and they last. Delicious - time to drink it ... all!

Cal cab tasting. Dark purple and opaque. Great Cal Cabernet nose. Black cherries, tobacco leaf, herbs, moist soil. Big and rich in the mouth. Powerful with lengthy finish. Nice bottle.

Good but lacked next level oomph. The '02s were spectacular early drinkers but they're on their denouement if you ask me.
