Jul 22nd, 2020A note I could’ve written before tasting. Despite a wonky cork, rich, nicely integrated fruit and fading tannins. Elegant, with a plummy perfume, light cocoa and leather, earthy richness.

Always great to see a snapshot of an incredible vintage on the North Coast. We tend to get wrapped up in 'cool climate' varieties around here so it's rad to get some exposure to Napa Cab with a few years of age... Especially out of Magnum.

Beginning to lose some fruit. Interestingly enough, of the three yr. vertical I recently drank, 95/96/97, the one I expected to show the poorest, 96, showed the best.
