I received this bottle from one of the partners before their top 100 rating and tasted after... Objectively ...well deserved. 124 yr old field blend of ? (Zin, Carigna, etcetera) surprisingly restrained as it was crafted with a subtle hand... Classically American it is "a pure expression of California's most unique vinicultural asset—the ancient field blend.".

This is amazingly good! 2 1/2 hour decant. Rich & complex.

Just wonderful expression of fruit, but its sense of place is what adds true complexity. Best vintage to date.

First wine from these guys after years of reading good things. Screaming good. Ridge elegance with extra pizzaz.

Very, very nice. Bold and smooth right now, June 2016. It will cellar well for at least the next 5 years.
