May 10th, 2017So sad this is my last bottle. So freaking good, love this. Massive but yet well balanced. In its drinking window now but no rush since this has plenty of time left.

Jan 1st, 2020One of my favorite petite sirah's. In its drinking window now, big juicy black and blue fruits with a but of violet, and vanilla. Love it!

Oct 25th, 2019My favorite PS! Massive dark fruits but tannins are now tamning down some.

Feb 3rd, 2019A huge wine. It's a massive brut but yet has finesse to it. Love this!

Feb 3rd, 2018MASSIVE wine! Tannins are smack in your face. Pnp through an aerator. It's like eating blueberry and blackberry pie.
One random thing I noticed is the relatively low abv of 14.2% compared to other PS.

Thanks once again to the Delectable community for turning me on to this winery. And, great price-point!
2015, 14.2 ABV.
What a NICE surprise! Dark cherry, blueberry, smoke, iron, liquorice. Sirahs, even Petite, can be overly fruity. Not this. Went great with some "Iowa" pork chops, on the gril, with some applewood chip smoke.

Black currant and leather, spice on the finish. If you are going to open this young, let it breathe an hour or so...but I bet it will age nicely. It is incredibly dark - much like a black hole, once light enters, it cannot leave.
