I’ve always drank these young but this is developing nicely and retaining freshness at the same time.

Bedrock Dolinsek Ranch Red

Dried blackberries and rich black and pruned plums. Black cherry dusted bituminous. Cedar and wet violets locked in an energetic embrace. Baked strawberry aromas and dried rose petal. Dried lavender emerges from bing cherry and red currant with a blackberry and bitter chocolate entourage. Touches of ginger and chicory on a medium full palate that bursts with Mallow blossom and blueberry. Intermittently tart, tangy, rich and floral, with a medicinal nod in the dried aromatics, that is a welcome and pleasant diversion. There is a black currant leaf note that likely opens to fruit with age, but is still very pleasant in its youth. #bedrockwineco #BedrockDolinsekRanchVineyards #BedrockDolinsekRanchRed #Sonoma #RussianRiver #RussianRiverValley #Russianriverred #SonomaCounty #DolinsekRanch #dryfarmed #LagunaTrenton #redwine #cared #calired

A bit richer and denser than many bedrocks. After being open for a while some of the more typical bramble comes through. Good acidity. With a solid decant this is accessible now.

This is great right off the bottle. Deep Ruby color. Forward nose of red berries, cherries, blue fruit and licorice. Medium+ body, medium+ to long finish. This shows very well even if very young.

Sharp, focused and surprisingly elegant at this age. A baby now but built to age. Ripe cranberry and red fruits! Thank you @Emily Rasmussen!

Backbone of blackberry, with sassafras and - we were going to say licorice root, but really it's more fennel as there's something vegetal here. This is extraordinary.
