v14. Very good, very good food wine. Decant. Soft, smoked meat nose. Bright cherry and black cherry fruit. Soft, tight, slightly chewy and chocolate finish. Nicely balanced.

I have a lot of good memories associated with this wine, and I love it for that. This is some solid juice from an iconic producer that exhibits some of the lovely characteristics of a highly reputable AVA. Integrated oak and spices with dark berries and cocoa. A solid, crowd-pleasing, approachable, well-priced Rutherford Cab 🙌🏻
