Cork looked great, needs an hour to blow off the funky nose.
Parker compared this to Shafer in his review of the 06, not sure its built to last as long as a Shafer hillside.
The oldest Beau Vigne I’ve had, definitely worth the investment & experiment. I was worried how these fruit forward wines would age, but in a magnum format it definitely worked out. But wouldn’t keep it over 15 years from bottling year,.
Getting better after 3 hours, gotta raise my rating
