Extremely soft and silky mouth feel. Low body. Lots of soft and delicate fruit notes wrapped with slate/graphite like flavors that leads to a med tannin and dry finish. Delicate wine that is understated and very tasty, let it breathe over an evening

Daughter asked me to evaluate wines from Trader Joe's. This is bottle #4 of 10 purchased. For $20, a nice wine, recognizable as Nebbiolo, but not really a 04 riserva.

A typical Nebbiolo. Light not overpowering the food had with Sea Bass. A great pairing.

A Nebbiolo "light". Nothing stands out.

I found this wine to be very drinkable, despite the lower ratings of others. Got some dried beef, cocoa dust and macerated cherries on the nose. Kitsch soaked berries and spice I the palate. A little awkward, but for a twentish dollar Barbaresco, bring it on.

As noted by others 20 dollars at TJs thought it was nice to get a 1o year old wine with great balance no acid or edge. Great Italian Sunday evening vino will try To get back before it is gone.
