Grass-flavored Sauvignon Blanc. Still flavorful and lively, despite the strong off flavor of grass. For a wine that usually sells for under $15, a good value. One can do much better for an extra $5, but if the budget is limited this is a good choice. Some years of Babich are better than others, and 2018 is a bad year for Babich with respect to grassiness.

Pretty standard New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Minerality with grassy notes up front. Hints of tropical fruits and lemon. Tasty and would buy again.

Sitting on a bench in the middle of nowhere off of Queenstown Trail on the Kelvin Heights peninsula. Best place in Queenstown, the view was incredible and peaceful.
