Picked this up during my last trip to Santa Barbara and am glad I did. First thing I noticed on the nose was the oak presence, followed by a sweeter green bell pepper note that was just different enough to be noteworthy. This wine is smoother on the palate than you'd expect while still maintaining a nice acidic edge to it.
Probably wouldn't hold up for 10 years but worth drinking now until then.

2012 is great. This is actually going to get better. The front is full bodied and the back end fades away slightly. Once it matures this will be a keeper.
