With pasta con le sarde and pistachio-orange blossom cake at home. Fantastic bottle, loads of depth and utterly drinkable. 60 day mac. Spiced orange, cardamom, apricot fruit leather, ginger with nice zesty tannins. Fennel in wine and in dish were bang on, and great pairing with the saffron + texture of the breadcrumbs. Sultanas in pasta with wine — knockout.
