Terre Siciliane Frappato

Red fruits, just but more defined by hint of brett, lavender, tea leaf, bergamot, olive brine, anise and leather. Medium plus, juicy, tart acid.

So many cherries sacrificed themselves in the volcano to make this wine - may the gods be happy!

Fresh black fruit and mineral with a slight spritz on the palate. So lively

To quote another from years ago regarding the 2003 or 2004 vintage of the Cerasuolo: "Other than the brett and VA the wine is beautiful".

A good example of a well made Frappato with more depth, but still retains the elegance and freshness typical of wine from this grape. Excellent with grilled swordfish and grilled asparagus. #cos #sicily
