Tobacco and pepper on the nose. Plum, no tannins. Very soft. Not amazing, but very pleasant.

Very structured with a dry finish. It eventually opened up. Should have held it for a little longer and then let it breathe more. Need fatty red meat and not pasta or chicken. For 21.99 at WH would get again.

Very good drinkable Tuscan Montepulciano! Typically but interesting in smooth acidity, herbal, spicy finish, sadly not as long as wishing.
Dazu: Gnocchi, Cavolo Nero, Pecorino Vecchio - Crostini con fegatini- Wildschweinsalami
