Toward the end of the week this week we opened the 2018 Ashbrook Estate Wilyabrup Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, mint, cassis, herbaceous notes and earth.
On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, spice, herbaceousness, tobacco, graphite and earth.
