16’ Arietta The White Keys
These wines are a little abrasive when they’re first released. Opens up in the glass 5 minutes later. Pale yellow in color.
Orange mango, honeydew. peach, fresh fig. The light acidity flows throughout the glass. Beautifully made. Consistency of this white wine year after year. Drink them up in the next 2/3 years.

Didn’t love on day 1 - the oak is still quite present. On day 3, different entirely. Definitely get some good tropicality on the nose. Semillon gives a great mouthfeel and the oak while still there is in the background. Quite juicy and tasty.

Sep 11th, 2022Really exceptional. Have usually had these with more age, but this is delicious at this point. Surprising amount of green Apple and similar acid to go along with that. Excellent pairing and just a great wine.

Jan 21st, 2020Drinking quite nicely right now. Very full bodied with some great glycerin notes - but have to want something more full bodied. Nice yellow and white fruit with some beeswax. Long finish with good acid but doesn’t scream through given the overall body.
