Light ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.

Nice fruity nose with cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, smoke, barnyard, vegetables, spices, earth, cloves, black pepper and celery.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice thick legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, red currants, tobacco leaf, licorice, spices, chocolates, vegetables and peppercorn.

Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and tart raspberries.

This South African Cabernet is nice, but not very special. Showing mild complexity but not fully balanced. Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly.

Needs 90 minutes to open up properly, show some tannins, and remove some of the acidity.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

This unusual Cab has a creamy mouthfeel with milk chocolate flavors, leading into a slightly acidic and oaky finish. It is medium bodied and a decent choice for an afternoon cocktail red.

Angels wine from South Africa. Full bodied robust wine. You need to let it breathe to enjoy. Not a favorite of mine but a decent wine.
