Intense ruby to jam color. Red to purple fruit nose. Acidic purple and red fruit flavors + some smoked meat or leather with small baking spices? Med + acid. Suede mouthfeel. Med + body. Small toasty, vanilla, new oak notes. Med to long dry and dried fruit finish. Felt the 14.8%. Overall, it was ok. Hard not to enjoy fermented grape juice but nothing that really jumped out... Tasted like wine.
