Decomposed granite for the win.

What a great vintage for this wine. Nose is fresh wet stones. Granite. So rocky. Palate is vibrant, deep and packed with fruits. Some tropical but also interspersed with deep clean minerality. This is so well fruited yet so dynamic and fresh it creates quite an impression on the palate. Stunning wine and has aged so well in just a few years. No rush, but in such a great place now.

So baroque. So dramatic. No formal notes. My go to under $30 brilliance.

The best wine from Laible for me. Lanolin and flowers abound on the nose. Beautiful texture. Rich yet light. Sappy with amazing amounts of dry extract. Huge structured finish. That never ends. Really mindbending.

Remarkable floral notes. Some age after 45 minutes. Super juicy with awesome citrus on the palate and a good long finish. Really complex on the finish. This is great but I have a sense it needs 5 years minimum to really show what it can do. Wow.
