$7 at Trader Joe's. Oak! Alcohol! Mild tannins, medium body? It's difficult to determine other characteristics with so much oak and alcohol heat. It's weird but good. Calms down a lot after breathing. Not as much bourbon essence as I expected. There's a definite whiskey-caramel-vanilla sweetness in the nose along with juicy dark grape. This is a bit rude and crude but I really like it.

Oak, pepper, and whiskey crash into you like a big wave. It finishes kinda fruity but the dominant flavors are so strong. Great $7 bottle though

Sep 28th, 2020A very young cab- with some great plum and cherry flexor flavours. Oak and whiskey quickly takes the drivers seat and finishes with some black pepper and currants. Definitely a fun a wine- especially for the price point.

Sep 28th, 2020Pale purple hue. Smells somewhere in-between ripe and jammed raspberries. Slightly floral (rose?) aroma. Nostalgic like classic bubble gum. Smooth body with hints of tobacco. Would definitely drink again!

Color of decent ruby, quite clear. Nose of youth, sour cherry, some berries, barrel chips or cedar, spice, medicinal syrup, more fire wood note, and strength of alcohol. Taste follows the nose, oaky comes first, tannins second, subtle refined sweetness from fruits comes last. Aftertaste is pretty decent with more firewood note. Pretty good.
