I love the complexity this wine has, I don't love the color purple it stained my teeth #syrahproblems

Leans on the sweeter side with undertones of plum. It’s not until you get further into the bottle that you start to notice the tannins.

The initial sip hits you a bit, a tad strong. Middle taste is smooth, jammy, blackberry and hint of black cherry. Long, spiced finish. This wine is a blend, I think it benefits from the Grenache and Mourvedre additions. A previous commenter on this site said paired well with beef dish, I could see that. I think Ill give it a try.

Goos structure. Reductive. Fruit shows after breathes.

Despite my Riedel Veritas glass, the nose is quiet. All I can sort of say is either "berries" or black berries.

Over the palate, plum and dark cherry. But there is an alcohol burn on the finish that you feel on the sides of your tongue, as you exhale berries. Hmmm.
