Rather interesting wine. Spicy and earthy with a strong face on it. It eventually opens up but doesn't give in much. Slight hint of sweetness - berries but all in all - a wine with character. Pairs well with ricotta salad. 2014 Vintage.

Brought it to a no corkage joint in north beach. Approachable yet vibrant. Not knock your socks off but great for a casual Sunday dinner.
