Very mature and complex Cotes du Rhone with near perfect amount of bottle age. The first approach is smooth and rich, almost velvety soft and creamy on the tongue. In the middle it is fruity and floral with a freshness that is surprising. At the back it is spicy and has a hint of earth without being overpowering or excessively pungent. One of the most approachable and enjoyable wines I've had lately from this region. Very nice.

Very solid Cotes du Rhone with strong, dark fruit but more limited earth notes; drinks well as it opens and the last glass is better than the first.
