Initially I rated this wine a 9.0 because although it is not for everyday consumption, it is very lively and green apple is strong on the nose and the palate. However, a day later I am revising my rating to an 8.2 because it's simply too sweet and tastes more like apple juice than a refreshing Chenin blanc.
