Hits all the buttons on that fruity, meaty Syrah and is really singing. It's a big boy at 15.5 abv and represented cali well in what has tuned into an intercontinental Syrah/Shiraz evening.

Jan 21st, 2018Big boy Syrah. Drinking fantastic. A little bit of time needed to open up but boy it has some rich, dark, black fruit flavors with a little bit of meaty smoke. Alcohol has tamed a bit so the fruit really shines. 3 more left so looking forward to sharing with friends, maybe a BBQ and a fire going.

Just coming into prime. This evolved very nicely over a couple of hours. First thirty minutes it was still closed and tannic but then it started to shine. Cool climate with blue and black fruits with meaty white pepper in there as well. Great stuff.

Sep 18th, 2015Super dense, brooding, dark wine. Lots of black fruits. Aromatic with lovely lavender notes. Blackberries, boysenberries and dark fruit compote. 15.5% ABV but beautifully integrated.

Aug 10th, 2015This is BIG! The nose is resplendent with lots of dark but red fruit (I know that is incongruent). The mouth is sumptuous and the finish is long. Very nicely integrated.
