Fourth wine tasted at Afton Mountain Vineyards. Bright crimson red. Slight dirty cellar on the nose, with slightly savory on the nose. Smooth and more complex than the Merlot. Some woody, forest and red berry notes throughout. Well rounded. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) with solid acidity. Moderate body, seemed slightly fuller than Merlot too. Moderate plus finish. Drink till 2022.
