Deep, blackish garnet purple. Abundant nose and mouth-filling palate of black plum, graphite, blackberry, and other juicy dark fruits. Full body. Medium plus, velvety tannins. Medium plus acidity. The Washington bridge between California and Bordeaux is quite clear in this Merlot-based Bordeaux style blend. Juicy fruit meets earth and structure like no other place can deliver. Fine Yankee beef preparations are in order: pot roast, prime rib, or New York strip would all fare well as would your favorite grill fare. Drink now through 2025 for potential development (but it should hold on much longer).
