Ruby colour. Interesting nose - with hints of cherry and star anise. Lovely and smooth. Not overly complex. Tannins firm but yielding on the finish. A solid wine.

Lots of earthiness but still pretty smooth. Black fruits, oak and maybe tabacco overtones in addition to the earths.
