Domaine De La Grand'Cour (Jean-Louis Dutraive)

Les Clos Cuvée Vielles Vignes Fleurie Gamay 2014

@Daphnee Metiu (Prospect) and John Lancaster (Boulevard) are sure to have a very popular Beaujolais table with this gem. One of the oldest estates in Fleurie, Dutraive's are unmistakable with intense aromatics and earthy fruit. From vines planted in the 1940s, this old-vine bottling is downright lust-worthy.

Domaine Charles Audoin

Les Longeroies Marsannay Pinot Noir 2012

More next-gen magic thanks to Côte d'Or's curators Haley Guild-Moore (Stock & Bones) and Petra Polakavicova (Epic Steak). That Charles is a fifth generation winemaker shows, his Les Longeroies is immediately compelling, giving and dynamic yet with plenty of complexity for aging.

Clos Salomon

Le Clou Montagny Chardonnay 2013

First established as a domaine in the 1300s, Clos Salomon was once the supplier to the Pope of Avignon. Coming from a now lesser-known part of Burgundy, the wines are once again coming out from under the radar. Bridging the luscious fruit of Meursault with the minerality of Chablis, they beautifully balance richness and chisel.

Céline & Laurent Tripoz

Les Morandes Mâcon-Vinzelles Chardonnay 2013

From the Mâconnais table, curated by Sociale's @Rebecca Fineman and @Chris Gaither, Tripoz's Les Mordanes is a dark horse well worth betting on. Biodynamically farmed on clay and limestone, and unfettered from manipulation, it shines with purity and freshness.

Maison Roche de Bellene

Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012

A négociant project from famed winemaker Nicolas Potel from sustainably farmed vines ranging from 56-88 years old, there are few greater steals in red Burgundy. Light oak, bright tart fruit and earthy undertones, it is a no-brainer any-day wine.

Julien Sunier

Régnié Gamay 2014

One of the young-guns in Beaujolias, Julien Sunier's wines are shockingly delicious. When you learn that his mentor is none other than Christophe Roumier, it all makes a lot of sense. Mid-weight with high-toned red fruit and fresh herbs, it is a new standard bearer for the region.

Pattes Loup (Thomas Pico)

Vent d'Ange Chablis Chardonnay 2013

A must-try from @Austin Ferrari (Hillside Supper Club) and Bobby Conroy's (Benu) Chablis table. Winemaker Thomas Pico's coveted wines fermented in steel and concrete strike a captivating balance of verve and succulence.

Went to visit him after tasting his wines in the UK. He is a great young man! Visible articulation in his wines I love his minerality and stony fruit with toasty flint. 2013 is a must!
