Killer wine — 9 years ago
The nose leads you down a path to oak and very ripe fruit notes, however the palate is pure, precise like a howitzer shell of tannin and structure. Should be killer in 10+ years as the palate is fresh, with very good balance and acidity. Complexity with age should increase the score and my interest but right now it needs time. — 10 years ago
Killer aromatics and still has plenty of life to it. Leather, red/ dark fruit remain with a hint of silky tannin. Realty held up nice! — 11 years ago

Killer juice. Blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, delicious fruit. High acid, moderate tannin. There's a savory note here as well. A fantastic wine with food--paired with steak. That, plus A1, was a match made in heaven. — 9 years ago

Well, I fired up a couple of fullblood waygu fillets for tonight (and Vanessa made a KILLER polenta), so the competition was tough. This is a terrific cab nevertheless. Classic nose of black fruits, violet, cedar, and black currants with a hint of leather. Not as tannic as I was expecting, but still had enough backbone to keep it interesting. If you have this, I’d suggest waiting a couple of years, as I suspect it will be more interesting once it starts acquiring more secondary flavors. Still a terrific cab! — 8 years ago
