2002 Raveneau Montee Tonnerre. Floral; elegant; rich; balanced nose and palate. Rich and lovely citrus and yellow grapefruit. Better than the 2000 Raveneau Montee Tonnerre. — 10 years ago
Keeps getting better and better with more age. Toasty yellow fruit and powerful. — 11 years ago
Sweet. Fruity — 12 years ago
Unusually has a sweeter hint for a Chardonnay. We liked it. — 4 years ago
Very fruity and sweet. Red berries are stronger than chocolate notes, but a perfect red for a warm evening. — 5 years ago

Pretty good taste, not too strong - great for my first scan! — 6 years ago
Interesting refreshing Chardonnay, less of the typical - sometimes overwhelming - tropical fruits. But more white fruit (melon), a bit more acidity and a subtle hint of oak. Easy to drink but also interesting for those who appreciate more complexity. — 7 years ago
If you want to drink something sweet that nearly doesn't taste like alcohol, this one is for you. The fizz also adds a dimension that got me. Can easily be a staple! — 8 years ago

Not as smooth as I thought it would be. Slightly medicinal taste. It's not a bad taste, just might not buy it again. — 12 years ago

Our friends deck coming along nicely. The kitchen bar & lighting is in.
Tastes really good tonight. Showing more of the right kind of oxidative notes I enjoy.

Excellent acidity. The finish is rush, smartly balanced, elegant and persistent. — 5 years ago

This South African is an almost perfect World Class Chardonnay. WS rated it no. 57 of the 2018 Top 100. They say it’s “ Melon, yellow apple, white peach and quince flavors give this (wine) an opulent feel. I agree with the WS review and add Intoxicating fruit aromas, clean crisp mouth feel with a refined finish. If you enjoy Chardonnay this one is a standout. Cheers 🍷 — 5 years ago
Clear straw yellow color. Apple lemon pear nose,. High acidity, pear lemon mineral flavor with a medium finish. Highly recommend! — 6 years ago
Best sake I've ever had! Cold and crisp but ends with a smooth and creamy finish. — 8 years ago
Not bad for a sangria — 9 years ago
Pale yellow color. Initially opens with wet wool aromas that give way to white peach, apple, Meyer lemon and a bit of wet stone aromas. On the palate its medium-bodied, and dry with wonderful acidity and texture with green apple, white peach, baked apricot, and citrus flavors. Lingering satisfying finish with a bit of minerality. 12.8% alcohol. Wonderful at the table! — 10 years ago
