If I had one sentence to describe this wine, it is this: "Ca' Togni is the definition of desire." The vintage was a 2006, and let me tell ya, have the years been great to this mistress! Showing a deep brick red color, and a wine still showing all its wonderful fruits, with an expected maturity thrusting forth delightful complexity, this wine will make you love Black Hamburg! (Black Muscat) On the nose, notes of dried figs, dried rose petals, old leather, strawberry-rubarb jam, followed by a pallet of racy dark maraschino cherries, brown spices, and a vanilla finish. Phillip Togni is a hell of a wine maker out of Spring Mountain! I highly recommend trying one of these, even if it is $50, it was most certainly worth it! On top of that, it is 1 of only three wines he crafts, still in his 80's, still the king of the mountain. — 10 years ago
Great bold flavour. — 10 years ago
So at first I was like, what is this? It was thin and weird, nothing like Groth. But ya gotta wait! Give this young pup 2-3 hours before you even taste it. The Oakville comes out in force, but it's gotta break free! It's so deep, and so structured, it's amazing.. But it's buried under a mountain of phenols and tannins right now. In fact, save this until 2020. It'll be ahhmazing! — 10 years ago
Patio wine for a hot summer day. Refreshing — 11 years ago
Gritty Tannin Dusty cherry she's big for her britches but don't that deter ya boy, saddle up and ride! You could even ride her when she is a bit older in 5yrs and the experience she would gather I reckon would be worth it.
Dark plum cassis and black bush berries, fill out the light sagey spiced nosed, great weight. I still think it is the best thing they do. — 11 years ago
Very full and perfect with charcuterie and cheese — 12 years ago
— 8 years ago
Nicest cab i have had! Screams California and beef. Breathes very well if ya can hold out. — 9 years ago

Soft tannins. Peppery with black cherry lingering... — 10 years ago
Very easy drinking... In other words, not something to take to a dinner party, but something that ya wanna drink like a beer! — 12 years ago
Creo que ya está para tomar... — 13 years ago
Deep gold, with slight browning (That's age for ya'!). White mousse with persistent medium bubbles. Nose of dried apples, ginger, and bread. On the palate, quince, white pepper, brioche crust. Acidity still bright; enhanced by the bubbles of course. Still solid after all these years! I'm having cheese omelette and Brussels sprouts. — 9 years ago
Such an awesome wine! Loved it. — 9 years ago
A bit more mineral and complex than the straight rose bubbles from jousset. For $3 more? Hell ya! — 10 years ago
Fabulous wine! For the price point this drinks like a much more expensive wine. Fresh fruity perfectly balanced. — 10 years ago
This 2012 Belle is another home run from the See Ya Later Ranch winery. Purchased this bottle for $17.09 at the vineyard in the Okanagan Falls area of BC- an area that is a must see for those who enjoy great wines and spectacular views. — 10 years ago

This run of about 13 PHENOMENAL wines I'm posting are from the SQN wine dinner/WNH interview I did at @Shawn R 's house last night. I was like a kid in a candy store on Christmas. What an absolutely EPIC night! Love ya brother!
Ok, so, wow, you know the night is going to be insane when this is the welcome sparkler! Rosé champagnes are becoming a favorite of my wife and I and Shawn seems to be the man when it comes to them. I've never had Krug Rosé, but I can't imagine it being better than this. The fresh strawberries, kiwis and knock your socks off acidity on this made me a believer in this stuff. — 8 years ago
