Great Pinot!!! — 7 years ago
Peaches. Tropical fruits. Crisp brightness. Lemon zest with a dry finish. A lovely expression on an ancient Roman grape grown locally. Nice work! — 7 years ago
Stewed fruit and cooked cherry nose. Dark cherry in the mouth with moderate plus acid. Aging nicely and an excellent example of the coastal end of SLH. — 8 years ago
Dry and slightly tart. Hint of watermelon. — 8 years ago
The grapes of wrath — 9 years ago
Wrath's first vintage. Holding up well, but I'd like a bit more acid. — 9 years ago
Nose is oak and honey. On the palate you get oaky vanilla and honey with a touch of citrus and a mineral backbone. The finish continues the mineral notes with moderate plus acid pushing through. This is a compact and solid chard. — 7 years ago
The best wine in the world. This wine could be 1 million a bottle and I would still buy it. These grapes were seeds given to King Arthur from Jesus. Grapes of wrath was actually based on this wine. Enjoy and beware :) — 7 years ago
Yum!!!!!! Great Chardonnay tropical fruits (really taste that banana) with creamy finish. — 8 years ago
Really explosive aromatics on the nose. This drank so smoothly with a great balance of dark fruit, spice and herbs. Lovely long finish. — 8 years ago
Came for their Pinot. Left with the Grenache. Very well balanced and fruit forward. Just excellent. — 8 years ago
I'm new-ish to the wine world, but this is the best Chardonnay I've had so far. I try to find others that compare but they just don't. It has a super butterscotch aftertaste. If that's your thing you'll love it! — 9 years ago
I would drink this any & every day.. @FairviewCellars hit it out of the park with The Wrath! — 9 years ago
Awesome 2 barrels from Santa Lucia highlands ! Really enjoyed this! — 6 years ago
This is an SLH Pinot from the winemaker who brought Wrath to prominence. The nose is lovely charred fruit. On the palate dark cherry, cooked strawberry, rhubarb and dark fruit. In the finish moderate-plus acid with some tannins to boot. Well done. — 6 years ago
Orange wine. Can't put my finger on the flavor, but when I do I'm going to kick myself. Really love it. — 7 years ago
Very nice twang. Sharp in the right places. — 8 years ago
Walking in MY front yard one morning I spotted a nasty armadillo. At which point I adorned Bill Murray (a la Caddy Shack) style fatigues and camped on the upstairs porch with pistol in hand , hoping to pick off said rodent. Alas, that leathery tough bastard got the best of me and broke my god blessed right hand big toe and escaped the wrath of my prejudice AND pistol. What it has to do with this succulent Nebbiolo, one will never know. — 8 years ago
Nice berry notes in bouquet; smooth with pleasant finish; more on fruit side for Pinot — 9 years ago
Dry earth. Like the Grapes of Wrath. — 9 years ago
Odin's wrath have you.! This went way to fast. — 9 years ago
