Opened up with supper expressive aromatics of red bramble fruit with a hint of stoniness. Juicy and open. A little grippy on the back. Another couple years and this should be hitting its stride. This red is very enjoyable mostly Zin blend. It is nice with a ripe fruit and spice nose with a medium to full body and plenty of cranberry, black current, and peppery spice. Tart and more tannic than the usual Zin and is well balanced and very easy to drink. — 10 years ago

A dry wine with low acidity, medium tannins and body with hints of dark fruit, especially black cherries, anise herbal flavors and MSU grooms with a long finish.
