Delicious. If all wineries had their entry level wines like this the world would be a happier place. — 9 years ago
Pretty delicious. Who can name the gemeinde and anbaugebiete? — 11 years ago
Plump varietal fruit & juicy acidity. But a little too oaky for my palate — 8 years ago
Weingut Groebe Aulerde GG '12(est. 1763) with Conecuh County, AL whitetail venison cube steaks smothered in mushroom reduction. My first experience with Groebe(finally); thank you Manhattan Wine Company. Across the road from Weingut Wittmann. More elegant and not quite as ripe, rich, and concentrated as Wittmann or Keller. While arguably not quite as dynamic as aforementioned, a delicious compliment through meal and priced more attractively.AP# 17 — 8 years ago
Alte Reben... A great wine. Shows why Philip is one of the best winemakers of his generation and of Germany. — 9 years ago
Clear pale lemon. Refreshing aromas of kefir lime, nectarine, and white peach. Bright acidity, dry, with additional flavors of Meyer lemon and a stony minerality. Medium finish. — 11 years ago

Damn! St. Laurent and Spatburgunder. To be honest, I want to forgo the glass if I can find a long enough straw... — 8 years ago
