I let it breathe for 30 minutes before drinking and kept it open through dinner. Strong on the first scent and then it adopts a meatier smell. First impression is earthy and dry like jerky. Strong tannen. Low full bodied fruitiness. Best with cheese and meats. Easier to drink as it breathes. Huge fan of the Perrin family wines. Would buy again — 8 years ago
This is awesome. How often do you get a blend of vermentino, marsanne, Grenache blanc, picpoul from the U.S. With 50% skin fermentation. Almost looks like Sauternes in the glass. But the mouthfeel and balance are amazing. — 9 years ago
