Super easy drinking — 8 years ago
Deep purple in colour. Some sediment. Cedar, tobacco, black currant on the nose. Black fruit, tobacco to taste. Long finish. Opened up in the glass. Could handle one to two more years in the cellar. — 8 years ago
Really rather enjoyed this - good value for less than a tenner. Medium bodied, blackberry fruit and subtle spice, long in the finish. — 9 years ago
My wife and daughter love this Riesling. They prefer this over the semi-dry version. A good wine with subtle hints of pear. Excellent with fish. — 9 years ago

This wine is simple brilliant and ready to drink! The nose leads with hints of bright red fruits then quickly transitions to an earthy smell ripe with fresh rain. Tastes of subtle dark fruit, followed by mild tannins, with a lush mineral finish. We are pairing with mussels braised in a tomato confit, glazed pork belly, and classic steak and potatoes. This wine is certainly a top hit!!! — 10 years ago
A wine worth writing about. A hearty but delicate Pinot with dark rich berries. It's an underground all star. — 11 years ago

I love all things Saxon Brown. I've tried almost all of their wines, and the Parmelee-Hill did not disappoint. — 9 years ago
An old favorite from Burrowing Owl Winery. Nice and rich though not as bold as some other vintages. — 9 years ago
Fantastic. Just the perfect amount of oak. Easy drinking, love the oily quality on the palate, ever so slightly sweet but still completely dry. Very round flavor. — 10 years ago
Yum! Just the right amount of sweetness! — 11 years ago
Surprisingly great blend for $30! Syrah, merlot and 70% cab. — 13 years ago
Very good. Sweet — 7 years ago
Could be my new favorite - got it 2 for $30 on sale! — 8 years ago
A more dry rose, but very smooth! — 8 years ago
Take a dill pickle from a good deli and bash it around in a well-made humidor then set that whole affair in front of a bowl of blackberry conserves. Et voila! Initial impressions. With air, this sheds the dill and cedar and replaces it with wintergreen. Overall a beautiful expression of a difficult and contentious variety. Satisfy your curiosity here; you'll enjoy it. — 9 years ago
Very light and fruity and great for a $3 bottle. — 9 years ago
Very tasty, rich, terroir expressive, good fruit, soft and smooth, paired well with C's spicy chicken, andouille and rice dish — 10 years ago
