"Black grape, raspberry and cassis hints combine in this delicately sweet Cabernet Sauvignon. It's full bodied character makes it superb with mature cheeses and fine pates." — 10 years ago
"Light gold. Intense, mineral-inflected aromas of pear, nectarine and white flowers. Bright, penetrating and emphatically dry, offering vibrant citrus and orchard fruit flavors and showing pronounced minerality. The strikingly long, energetic finish features notes of iodine, smoke and candied ginger, with a sneaky note of pit fruits adding depth."
- Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2013
All of our Chardonnays are whole-cluster pressed and fermented in Burgundian barrels with native yeast. Due to their great density and structure, vineyard-designate wines are able to absorb more oak without being overwhelmed, and see approximately 45% new French barrels. In addition, these wines spend more time in barrel (for Hyde, 21 months), completely sur lies, before being bottled without filtration. — 10 years ago

I believe this is what tasting stars is like (and yes I know that's Dom related, but it applies to Cristal as well). — 7 years ago
New York Prime, Boca, Scuderia Club... Aston Martin driving CPA to the stars MZ concurs; this was simply black grape inky goodness. Wow, this winery never disappoints... — 8 years ago

Intense, balanced, complex. This Lopez De Heredia Gran Reserva Vina Tondonia Tempranillo 1994 keeps on getting better year after year. The perfect bottle for today, International Tempranillo Day. Perhaps only God could say if and when there will be another so fine, but she's tight-lipped. Assume that very little of this still exists. — 10 years ago
Tasted like the stars with Paige and Leslie! — 10 years ago
Wow... very yummy and a surprising texture. Much more smooth and full bodied than I've experienced with a rose. I'm a fan! Yum! — 7 years ago
2008 vintage. Stood out at the Cape Mentelle International Cabernet Tasting back in 2011 of the 2008 vintage. Ripe berry fruits with modern oak treatment and that Margaret River herbal trademark. Good concentration and balance with a persistent finish. Impressive. First one since the tasting 5 years ago. Has a great future but in a very good place right now. — 8 years ago
Medium body, smooth, light fruit flavors. — 9 years ago

Exceptional showing at Pappas. Hidden gem on an incredible list of all stars — 9 years ago
This is a Valpolicella blend without Molinara but with some Croatina. Grapes come from volcanic soils of San Briccio Cru, near Mezzane. 2006 is a 4-stars vintage, but here we are at the top peak of quality, awesome wine. — 10 years ago
Aromatic and complex, definitely not international style — 10 years ago
International Sherry week has started! I'm always there with beautifully individual bottling, revealing Flor aromas and flavors, freshness and minerality. Great wine made personal. — 10 years ago
