Took @Brad Hemmer 's advice re: decanting and after an hour it opened up beautifully - smells like pine needles on a wet forest floor, a little astringent on the palate with nice tannins, peppercorns, and prunes. Coca-cola and mushroom-y finish... mmm — 12 years ago
